Oral
and Maxillofacial Fellowship
This advanced
not-for-profit 501(c)(3) accredited opportunity is one year (July 1 to
June 30) of hospital based Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery centered at Mercy, a level one trauma center in suburban
St. Louis, Missouri. Our goal for the Fellowship is to provide
extensive exposure and advanced clinical training for the Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeon in facial cosmetic, reconstructive, orthognathic,
and TMJ surgery, facial trauma, trigeminal nerve repair and complex
dental implantology. Our focus is to train surgeons to be competent in
full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The diagnosis,
interdisciplinary treatment planning, treatment and management of
patients will be the core of the rotation. Trauma, hospital coverage
and supervision of GPRs should be anticipated. Candidates must have
completed an approved OMFS residency;
Missouri
dental and/or medical licensure is required. Salary, benefits and
continuing education allowance are included.
