Office Hours
Regular
office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday. We will try to see you at the scheduled time.
We believe strongly in the value of your time and will
do our best to keep you from having to wait a long time.
We would appreciate 24 hours notice if you find it necessary
to cancel your appointment.
Telephone Calls
Our telephones are answered from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
p.m. Our staff is trained to handle all incoming calls.
This allows the doctors to attend to their scheduled
patients with minimal interruptions.
After Hour Calls
Our doctors are on-call after normal office hours for
emergencies only. If the need arises, call the operator
at (314) 251-6000 and they will page the surgeon on-call.
If your emergency if life threatening please call 911.
Prescriptions & Refills
Just as we can not treat illnesses over the phone,
we cannot prescribe all types of medicine over the phone.
Medications will be handled during regular business
hours and only if you are currently under our care.
If you need a prescription refilled, have the name of
the medication and pharmacy handy when you call. If
you phone for a refill prior to 3:30 p.m. it will be
called in by 4:30 p.m. that day. Patients on long-term
chronic medications must obtain their medications during
the regular week, these medications cannot be filled
by the on-call doctor on the weekend.
