John A. Haden, D.M.D.
John
A. Haden, D.M.D., received an A.B. degree in Chemistry from
Drury College, Springfield, Missouri, after serving in the
United States Marine Corps. He then attended Washington
University in St. Louis, Missouri where he received his
dental degree, and then entered the United States Navy for
two years, serving two tours in Vietnam. Upon completing his
military service he did his residency in Oral &
Maxillofacial surgery at Louisiana State University Medical
Center and a rotation in Anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial
Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Dr. Haden was a visiting
Professor in both the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Department and the Craniofacial Surgery Department at the
University of Texas Medical Center in Galveston, Texas. Dr.
Haden is a graduate of the Misch Institute of Implantology.
Dr. Haden has lectured extensively nationally and
internationally on Temporomandibular Joint Reconstruction,
and was Director of the Temporomandibular Joint and
Maxillofacial Pain Center at Missouri Baptist Medical
Center. He was an Instructor in ACLS for many years at
Forest Park Community College, and the American Heart
Association. He has served as Chief of Service at Deaconess
Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital. Dr. Haden is also a
P.O.S.T. certified Police Officer, and for several years was
an Instructor at the Eastern Missouri Police Academy, and is
an Adjunct Instructor at the St. Louis County Police
Academy. Dr. Haden recently integrated his practice with the
doctors of the Oral Facial Surgery Institute, to better
serve patients in St. Louis and the surrounding area.
